so I caved in…

…and went to Regent Street to buy an iPod. 30GB instead of 80GB, ’cause… well, £260 is too much for an mp3 player.

The 5.5G iPod is awesome. I used to despise iPods ’cause they were popular for no reason, but now they do useful things. Like sync [video] podcasts. I almost walked into a lamppost watching diggntion today. Audio podcasts are for walking, video podcasts are for waiting, must remember that.

Also, using iTunes is a hell of a lot nicer than using creative’s piece of shit software.

iPod socks in PCWorld are £25. Who the hell pays £25 for a few socks?

I shall have to find a good case to protect it from dust/scratches/theives/aliens. Belkin kickstand case?
