A Boy Like Me, Should Shut Those Books, Join The Army

The propaganda pack from the Army finally came, after more than a month of delay. What crappy service, I could’ve joined the French Foreign Legion by now.

In all seriousness, I am planning to join next year. I’ll speak to a recruiter to see what qualifications I need for a good ITC/Comms/Engeneering job, ’cause I sure as hell don’t want to be a grunt on the front lines. Being shot at & bombed by the Iraqi insurgency = bad.

Speaking of Iraq, I found it amazing how throughout the whole Army recruitment DVD, the place wasn’t mentioned once. It’s a newly filmed DVD, yet they only mention Afghanistan once & show troops deployed in what I think was South Africa o_O DON’T WORRY, WE WON’T STICK YOU IN THE DESSSSSSSERT… yet.

For now though, I must play Wii

I had no idea the Wii had Wi-Fi & an Opera browser, such genius’ the Nintendo folk are. Having the interweb on the living room telly is soooooo useful, I no longer need to drag my laptop out to show people things online.

Now all I need to do is figure out a way to stream music/video & download me some virtual console games. Fuck yeah.

The international Tae Kwon Do regulators are called the “World Taekwondo Federation“… “WTF” for short That had me cracking up for ages. Immature and nerdy, I know.

I’ve been leaving paper cranes about the land.

I used to just leave them blank, but then I figured, if I found a paper crane randomly placed on a tree, I’d like to know why the hell it was there & who put it there, so I’ve been leaving my email address on them. Only two people have been curious enough to contact so far.

Flase Reality

Taking random cameraphone shots & editing them in photoshop is like crack to me. They never come out very good, but whatever.

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could invent a VR headset that took images of whatever you’re looking at – and in real time – altered it so that it looked cinematic & prettyful?

In a week, a Wii is being delivered to the house. *twitch* Must do a Cartman & freeze myself for a week *twitch*.

Addiction

On a recent trip to Costco Wholesale, my mother bought a giant bag of American pancake mix. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked on pancakes And my weight loss stopped… so I have have to run double what I used to.

Fuck Off

CCTV is starting to really piss me off. When cameras start barking orders at people, that’s when I break out the cable cutters. Really, who’s smart idea was this?

Destroy CCTV cameras.

Being able to wake up early every morning is bliss, I get so much more done. Also, there are no chavs up early, so I can go for a run without being harassed.

Cycling to Alperton in jeans on a hot day is silly.
