Things I’m loving at the moment:
Notting Hill Carnival, I’ve been every year for around 5/6 years, but I’ve never really had a chance to see it properly as I’ve always been there to work. This was not the case this year! I got to wonder about on the 2nd day
I took the chance to have a go at street portraiture.
Our weapon, a D50. Our lure, Free haribo.
It worked like a charm, people were stumbling over each other to get free sweeties. We ran out really quickly.
We had tried this set-up before on the South Bank with little success, it seems that drunk/stoned carnival goers are far more willing to have their photo taken than stuck-up tourists.
The shots we took at South Bank were on 35mm, which Lolly under-developed, so I might try salvage them with PS one day.

So the re-installing of windows failed terribly. Now all I have is an error message:
“NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to continue”
It’s all fucked.
Fixing takes too long.
Haven’t got the patience.
Going to read a book instead.
Computers are all annoying cunts.
Even the really nice computers that cost loads.
They’re all out there to fuck with your head by dying.
Listening to: Nothing, I’m running on a Ubuntu boot CD & it doesn’t have .mp3 codecs installed.
Windows has gotten so bloated on my system that it needs a fresh install. I hate it when this happens
It involves effort.
My procedure for this involves writing a list of programs & junk to be reinstalled.

It’s almost as stressful as moving house. There is much to think about. Google Earth places, iTunes podcast subscriptions & libraries, Firefox bookmarks, RSS subscriptions… it all has to be sorted.
Today on the tube I folded loads of cranes. A little boy sat opposite spotted what I was doing and started to fold a chatter-box, as if to say, “yeah, but look what I can make, nerrrr”.
Yesterday, I was sat at the very front of a tube train, right by the driver. The carriage was mostly empty with only about 6 other people scattered. An old lady came on and sat right next to me, despite all the empty seats. Who does that?!
OAPs are unpredictable and not to be trusted.
This overcast weather had wrecked havoc with my sleep. Bring on the sun pls.

LOL @ this news story:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/6958958.stm
“Jihadist material and camouflage clothing was also found at his home.”
Camouflage clothing, totally makes you as a terrorist. Don’t believe me? Just look at this man in camouflage clothing, he looks very al-qaeda to me:

“During the raid an “amount of jihadist material” and the Anarchist’s Cookbook, which contains bomb-making recipes, was also found there, as well as camouflage trousers and paintball guns.”
The Anarchist’s Cookbook is not a serious book, it was made as a joke by some hippies in the 70’s.
But wait, I hear you say, THE MAN HAD PAINTBALL GUNS. Oh noes, he will bruise us all!!
This story was funny until I read that he served 8 months. For a flare launcher. Urgh.
