We All Do It

14 09 2007

Yes, we all google ourselves. If you google my online handle (SlipstreamJC), you get a little list of me on the first page:

  • flickr stream
  • flickr profile
  • deviantART profile
  • DIGG page
  • DIGG profile
  • flickr stream RSS feed
  • flickr “whatsinyourbag” tag RSS feed (:S)
  • Panoramio photos (photos that show up on google earth, only have two on there)
  • Page 10 of my flickr feed (:S)
  • YouTube profile

I find this all fascinating. This is on the second page. Wtf. And there’s photos of me. How does it know to do that? There are four links to photos of me on page 2 (o_o)

OK, what started as geeky fascination has turned into fear. Google is stalking me. It is e-stalking me.

It’s nice to find people who have blogged my photos though. Like this German fella. And this Spaniard. And this Canadian named Tim.

Somebody (by the name of scho) has put a horse into one of my photos:

Lovely.

Hey, I’m one of those who have used your photos. I also really like to google my name and see people using what I have done.

Thank you again and btw, I’m not Spaniard, I’m Mexican.
