oh dear baby jebus

Last night I accidentally downloaded “Doomsday 2012” thinking it was “Doomsday“, the British film.

Thought I might as well watch it anyway. Big mistake. It was the worst film I have ever had the misfortune to watch. First there was really crappy dialog and acting, then it started to copy “Day After Tomorrow” with the father-in-charge-wants-kid-back-earth-is-fucked thing, and then it got all Christian propagandy and I fell asleep when it started snowing in the jungle. This is the first time I have ever fallen asleep during a movie, it was that bad. It made baby jebus cry. It made “Meet The Spartans” look epic.

Isn’t A4 paper marvelous? It has so many uses. Hats, for instance.

I just spent far too long figuring out a way to play video on my NDS. I’ve finally gotten an episode of South Park to play by converting it to a .dpg.

All of this is pointless, of course, as these video files could just be played on the iPod.

PRO-TEC ACE DIG

It arrived today ^_^ Originally I had ordered a medium/large, but that was far too big for my little head, so I’ve had to settle for the smallest size (Jr/S).

So I tried it out on my cycle to Ealing today. ‘Tis very comfortable. I’m not entirely sure what the purpose of the visor is, but it looks nice It’s attached by two little screws on either side & some velcro in the middle, so it can be adjusted. I might tweek it up a bit, it’s hard to see the traffic lights with it so low.

It has a goggle strap at the back. Which is nice. Y’know, incase I need to cycle in a sandstorm or summat.

It’s a bit heavier that other cycle helmets I’ve tried, but I like that. It feels like it can actually save the cranium if some stupid driver were to suddenly open their door whilst I’m going past at top speed. It’s not as breathable either, but again, that’s a good thing when it as cold as it was today.

Might copy Hodge Podge & stick some velcro on the side(s) for patch-adding-uberness.

Ordering stuff online is great, it means avoiding shopping centers and junk. But when the stuff arrives & doesn’t fit, it’s well annoying. This PRO-TEC is way too big for my little big head.
