TFL’s traffic cam page is pretty damn awesome. All the cameras are dotted on the (google) map, so it’s really easy to find the one you want. Just click on the dot, and a bubble appears with the camera feed inside.
CCTV ‘aint so bad when it’s open to everyone like this.
And until google brings street view to London, this is the next best way to find out what a place looks like, so you can find your way once you get there.

I has a new awol bag. Oh yes I does. It is shexy. Oh yes it is.
‘Tis called an “all arms bergen” or “combat handbag” (when it’s all zipped up & the straps are covered, it looks bit like a DPM handbag). It were only £13. Has an interior frame, aforementioned cover for straps (rolled up on the top when not in use), a good waist belt, waterproof-ish material and top/bottom straps.
The frame makes it really comfortable. Much more so than any other big pack I’ve tried.
All it needs now is the side pouches, and a shelter. Maybe some more rations. MREs, if I can find them.
So when the world turns sideways, I shall be prepared. You’ll all be fucked. But I shall not be.

It’s nice when the sun comes out.
The changing of seasons still hurts my head a bit though. I like being able to wonder about with a hoodie on, but you can’t do that in a heatwave 
Have to go summer-clothes-shopping. Urgh.
This stressed me out so much that I’ve bought myself another backpack. An army surplus all arms bergen. I was going to get a blackhawk 3-day assault, but it’s just stupid expensive. The surplus one is probably better anyway.
Watching: Glue
Muesli, toast, corn flakes, weetabix and bagels, they’re all crap morning food.
I’ve never been able to eat this type of food for breakfast. It’s too pathetic. I can’t have a fry-up every morning either, I’d be obese by now if I did, but something in between will do.
Last year at Notting Hill carnival, I had some BBQ chicken at 8am ’cause there was fuck all else to eat. Some one said,
“what are you doing eating chicken this early?!”
“…I’m hungry…”
“yeah but you should eat cereal for breakfast, not chicken!”
“…cereal is a new invention, not so long ago people ate proper food in the morning to give them energy throughout the day”
“yeah… but… chicken!!?”
It was damn good chicken 
The Eee PC is so addictive now that it has windows on it. Really. I can’t put it down. I’ll have to order a gig of RAM for it today.
