WTF

Was having a well shitty day today. Getting ready for exercise tomorrow. Had to go to the shop to buy washing powder so I can have clean clothes to bring. Got to the counter with my bold 2-in-1 and the old lady serving looked at me as I walked up to her, then as I reached the counter, she put her face right up to my chest and squinted her eyes.

“Oh my god…. laugh out loud….. and what does that one mean?”

“Huh?”

“Your shirt, it says W.F.T, I know “oh my god” and “laugh out loud”, but I’ve never heard of that one before”

“OHHH, it means “what the fuck”, I replied, trying not to offend the little old woman.

“Haha! That’s a good one, I’ll have to put it on my facebook!”

She must’ve been at least 60 years old. Made me giggle. I love old people who love the internet. It makes me happy.

I wanna be a sense offender

Tonight, I packed all my kit for exercise. It feels good to have a bergen and webbing that you know will sustain you. Knowing that your admin is sorted. I have my warm kit & spare clothes (both waterproofed), gore-tex kit, three different stoves (issue hexi, warrior cookset & jetboil), mess tins, two bashas (to be attached together to make one large basha), sleeping bag in gore-tex bivvie bag aaaaand my first aid kit. Sorted.

Have to drive all the way up north tomorrow. In a bloody land rover. Pah. They’re great off road, but crappy on motorways.

Doing the usual Sunday night routine. Pack the bags. Getting ready for work tomorrow. Meeeeeeeh.

I went for a culture shop in Westfield. Bought magazines, a signed copy of Douglas Coupland’s new book [Generation A], a couple of Blu-ray movies and a PS3 game. It’ll make it a bit less painful to go back to the barracks.

People seem to be making less sense to me every day. The things that they do just are not logical.

I got a PS3 slim today, along with three games (killzone 2, ghost 2 & dfjkfhd). The only TV at my parents house is a CRT. Will not do. My LCD TV is in my room in Abingdon. No PS3 ’till I go back tomorrow. Oh it hurts.
